Joseph Porrovecchio: A Certified Carbon Reduction Manager (CRM) and LEED Accredited Professional, Joseph is a founding member and the Manager of Carbon-Key, LLC and a Service Disabled Veteran.

Joseph has been elected by membership to serve on the executive board of the U.S. Green Building Council New Jersey Chapter for the past four years and is a committee member of the New Jersey Higher Education Partnership for Sustainability (NJHEPS). In addition to over 35 years of experience as an environmental engineer and health physicist, Joseph is also an educator. As an adjunct professor at Ramapo College, Mahwah, New Jersey, he taught graduate and undergraduate level courses focusing on sustainability and carbon abatement. He has also directed and participated in numerous technical education conferences, seminars and workshops.

Thomas Porrovecchio:  A LEED Accredited Professional and an attorney, Thomas is a founding member and general counsel of Carbon-Key, LLC.

Thomas is experienced in corporate finance, business law and state and federal environmental policy initiatives. He is also a LEED consultant and a member of the U.S. Green Building Council New Jersey Chapter.

Ed Borella: A registered professional electrical engineer with 36 years of experience.  Formally vice president of engineering for Key-Span engineering Associates where he was responsible for staff resources, project management, commercial and residential energy audit, cogeneration/chiller plant design and construction, installation/overhaul of boiler and ventilation systems for commercial, industrial and large complexes.

Mario Verdibello: A registered professional civil engineer with 40 years experience specializing in hazardous waste remediation, environmental restoration, power plant design and construction. Mario also has international project management experience with private and public sector civil and environmental projects.

Jack O’Keefe: A registered architect and LEED Associate with 24 years experience. Formally director of facilities engineering for a 500 acre campus of a major pharmaceutical manufacturing community. Jack’s expertise includes healthcare, hospitality and university construction as well.

Paul O’Conner: A project management professional and environmental sustainability consultant. Paul’s subject matter expertise is strategic planning, alternative system analysis, capital programming, organizational development and project financing.

Dex Ott: a registered Architect and LEED AP has over 20 years of professional experience as a director, manager and architect on large building projects throughout the US and around the world.  Dex is a Building Information Modeling (BIM) expert with experience in integrating BIM into the design and construction process as well as educating design professionals in its use.
